Hey y'all. Happy Friday. It's a little bitter sweet for me. Last day of Spring break, but the weekend means more time with the boyfriend. Anyways, I'm linking up to tell y'all my deepest darkest confessions of the week... juicy :)
1. I must confess that I am completely obsessed with the song "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" by Kip Moore. Let me just tell you I still joke around with my boyfriend that it was his truck that got me hooked, and if you're a country girl like me you will love, love, love this song. Go listen to it now. For real.
2. I have slipped a little bit on the whole "eating healthy" thing, but have no fear. I will get back to normal. However, I did run three miles yesterday without stopping! I'm thinking if I can balance my eating with my running maybe I can have this body. Another fitspiration picture.
3. I confess that I had these amazing plans of things I was going to do on my Spring Break, and I pretty much haven't done any of them. I've enjoyed my bed, Pinterest, television, and catching up on some blogs. Oh, and guess what, I confess that I don't care.
4. I confess that I am completely ashamed that I never did the research behind Invisible Children when everybody else was talking about it in high school. I just watched the STOP KONY video and cried my eyes out. It breaks my heart that this is going on, and it needs to be stopped. I encourage y'all to google it, watch the video, share the video, spread the word, whatever it takes... Do something.
...
Thanks for stopping by! I hope y'all have a great weekend!
Hey Heather! I just read your comment on my confessional post through Leslie's link up - so glad you enjoyed the song I linked to it. I didn't even realize how appropriate it was for the Kony video until I read your comment! Kudos to you for exercising and trying to get healthy. That is something that I struggle with - after long days at work, it is sooo hard to want to go work out! Hope you enjoy the last few days of your Spring Break!:)
ReplyDeleteI remember watching "Invisible Children" when the filmmakers came to my school back in 2004 or 2005--I would totally have signed up for the next flight out to the Sudan if my parents hadn't reminded me that I could help everyone out more if I actually finished my college degree! Thanks for highlighting this issue--I'm glad there are other people who feel so strongly about it, too!
ReplyDeleteDropping by from Confessinal Friday! Awesome job on the running! I'm slowly working my way back up on mileage. Gotta push myself now that the weather is slowly getting much nicer!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree with you more about Kony 2012 campaign. Heartbreaking and now we can lend our voice in the blog community to help the cause and spread awareness!
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
