Is It Here Yet?

If there's one thing I love about fall it's football. Don't get me wrong, y'all. I love summer. My favorite by far. But I can't deny the longing I have for football season. Since I got bitten by the Clemson bug back at the FSU game, I've been on edge waiting for the next football game.

Is anybody else hearing what I'm saying? No matter what team you pull for I know us Southern girls love some college football. Hurry up September! 

Monday Motivation...

Need a little "pick-me-up" on this Monday afternoon? There is nothing greater than praising the One who keeps you going. Go ahead. Let it all out.

My Life in the Fast Lane...

I have been quite absent from the blogging world lately, but for good reason. I promise (not that anyone cares besides my Mama). Here's a little of what has been going on with me since I last shared with y'all. 

1. I became a pro floor installer. Just kidding, but I did help my boyfriend's parents put in new flooring and learned  a thing or two. Pretty hard job. Good workout though. 

2. I turned 21! Really not that big of a deal, but it does sound more "adult". 

3. I finally found out where I will be doing my internship in the Spring, and I'm pretty excited about it. 

4. I took the mind-blowing Praxis 2. I have never felt so tired after taking a test. Good gracious. 

5. Oh yeah, I went to the beach and worked on my tan a little. 

I do apologize for my vacation from the blogging world. Hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things soon. I hope everyone's Summer has been going great!

Confessional Friday...

So, yes, I realize it's been a long time since I've posted anything. Today was my last day babysitting for a little while, but I wasn't feeling too hot this morning so I opted for a day in bed instead. Thankfully, they understood. So, I reckon it's time to link up with Leslie to share my deepest darkest confessions. 

1. 

I have missed blogging and enjoy catching up on the things I've missed here lately. 

2. 

I wish my hair would grow faster. This is my goal. 

3. 

I'm working harder than ever before to get the body I so desperately want. 

4. 

I am so ready for football season. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE baseball, but by the time the CWS comes around, I'm over it unless my teams are in it. (Which they weren't.) I can't wait to go back to Clemson for another football game! 

5. 

Finally, this is not a confession as much as it is a statement. I read The Lucky One faster than any book ever. It was incredible. I can't wait to read the next Nicholas Sparks' one.

World's Worst Blogger... World's Best Babysitter

Oh if you could only find it in your hearts to forgive this awful blogger! (I thought the picture of the sad puppy might help... a little.) Allow me to explain. I've been babysitting all month and my computer charger is dead. Therefore, the only computer time I have is either through my phone or during my babysitting hours. Call me crazy, but I'll feel guilty if I blog during "work". Anyways, hopefully I will be getting a new charger soon and be back to blogging. I can't wait to catch up with all of your awesome blogs! Thanks again for understanding... if you care :) 

Confessional Friday...

It's Friday y'all! 

Time for celebration, right? 

Well, here's my confessions of the week. It's been a while since I've linked up with Leslie, but today I decided to. Why not? 

1. 

I confess that I cried like a baby yesterday after I dropped the girls off. Y'all have to understand, I've been sitting in car line for four years to pick these sweet girls up, and I wouldn't trade a single minute of it. Getting older has its perks, but sometimes it sucks. I'll have to get a real job soon. I'll miss our car rides.

I confess that I am a little excited that the infamous honey boo boo child is getting her own show. I know, I should never be excited about that kind of stupidity, but come on. It's hilarious. 

3. 

I confess that it irritates the living mess out of me that I cannot tan as easily as others. One hour of tanning for my brother and boyfriend is the equivalent of my one month. Ridiculous. 

4. 

I confess that I used to despise peanut butter with every bone in my body, but now I crave the stuff. I swear Benji is getting to me. 

5. I confess that I desperately want Clemson to beat the tar out of every single team this weekend in Columbia and go to Omaha. 

6. 

I confess that I really want a new blog design (a professional one), but don't have the money or skills to do it. Come on y'all. I'm a broke college girl. 

7. 

Finally, I confess that I've been itching to go shopping, but I have limited funds and absolutely no space in my closet for new clothes. What's a girl to do?

Happy Wednesday y'all!

The tropical storm has finally passed here and the sun is trying to peak out through the clouds... which is tempting me to go out and tan. Anyways, enough of my ramblings. Here's a few things I'm loving today!

1. 

Okay, so don't laugh, but I am loving that I went to the doctor today. I've been having terrible nosebleeds for about a year, and now it's fixed! That excites me. Hey, I said don't laugh. 

2. 

I'm loving that Fried Green Pickles was having a giveaway from Queen of the Tailgate, and I won! I chose these amazing earrings, and I can't wait to wear them to a Clemson game. 

3. 

I'm loving these cute things I found from the Blue Door Boutique. I just wish I had the money to get them all. 

4. 

I'm loving some of this hair inspiration. When you're growing your hair out, sometimes it gets annoying and you just want to cut it. These pictures help me visualize what I want. 

5. 

And of course, I'm loving him.
